I Didn't Eat it!!!

What is it with people!?

Especially the other half, so a certain some one got them self's a new cooking gadget and has been obsessed with it since I picked it from the outlaws!!

I'd like to say that I enjoy my food a lot but I am not a fatty I also enjoy the gym so that mince pie(s) I had to day at work will get cancelled out when I go to the gym!!(how female was that!!)

So blessed Laura has been baking with her new gadget, choc chip cookies that are all right but I think they could of done with a few more minutes in the oven!! but what do i know!

Flap jacks which in turn were pretty dam good, so as I returned home last night from the gym to be treated to a fresh batch of flap jacks which the words were" you can have one now and one later after dinner" (hang on a minute are you my Mrs or my mum!!) so I was treated to a flap jack which was excellent nice and chewy but not like chewing fat and a slight crunch... perfect!!

The night soon drew in and it was time to hit the sack!(Bed) and as I awoke at the crack of dawn.. changed into my work clothes and got my lunch ready I thought that I will grab a couple of flap jacks to take to work just two...I then return from work to be accused of eating them all!?

With the age old answer of it was not me i'm then lectured that she didn't eat them and Leo may be some how grew to 6ft opened the cupboard and took them him self!! What am I meant to say to that?!

In reality I don't really care as we know Laura is a secret chomper and that she ate them but as a gentlemen I will stand proud and tall and take the cakey bullet for my other half!!

Why is it as a man who loves food I get accused 1st when the phantom chomper has been about!?

Well That Was Quick!

So it has been six months since my first blog post!

I guess really I haven't had the time to get around too writing,

the first blog i wrote was written literally in the middle of an abandoned castle that I had spent 3 months refurbishing with a new kitchen,windows,doors and furniture as soon as that was finished it was then another 2 months doing the same at a Warren house!

It's actually been a hectic 6 months with Laura, Leo and my self moving into our new home!

This has been something I have all ways wanted for us as I felt living at the in(out) laws was not sitting well with me.

I have always seen my self as an independent person since a young age, doing things my way suits me to the ground and I guess I am selfish at times and put up a good fight if I think I am right until I get proven wrong.

It was a huge relief when we found a lovely little 2 bed home with a double garage, so we put our names down for our potential home!

It's such a relief to be in our own home.

I can now walk around in my pants with no mother in laws to be startled, I have my own garage in which I can tinker away on my bikes!! It's nice to come home and relax and do what I want to do!

Is it me or is it stressful trying to live under some one else roof?

Any way I'm looking forward to the new year as work is going well, I have my own home with my family and I have decided to take the next step from furniture making and joinery to architecture!

 I promise to keep the posts coming!!
